VMAX ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the VMAX mobile application (the "App").

Name: Used to personalize your experience within the App.
Age / Date of Birth: Used to calibrate analysis models appropriate for your age group.
Gender: Used to provide gender-specific analysis and recommendations.
Height & Weight: Used to provide comprehensive physical analysis.
Facial Photos: Used exclusively for AI-powered facial analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality.
Usage Data: How you interact with the App (screens visited, features used) to improve user experience.
Purchase Information: Subscription status and transaction identifiers, managed through our payment processor.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your email address, phone number, or social media accounts inside the app.
We do not access your photo library or contacts.
We do not collect precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Facial Analysis: Your photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for real-time analysis and are not retained after processing.
Personalization: Your profile data (name, age, gender) is used to tailor recommendations and analysis results.
Subscription Management: Purchase data is processed by RevenueCat to manage your subscription status.
App Improvement: Anonymized usage data helps us improve the App's features and performance.

3. Data Storage & Security

All personal data you provide (name, age, gender, height, weight) is stored locally on your device using secure device storage. This data is not transmitted to or stored on external servers, except as described below:

Facial Photos: Temporarily transmitted to Google Gemini AI for analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored by Google beyond the processing session, in accordance with Google's AI Terms of Service.
Subscription Data: Managed by RevenueCat, which processes purchase tokens from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Gemini AI – For facial analysis processing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat – For subscription and purchase management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store – For app distribution and in-app purchases.

5. Data Retention

Local Data: Retained on your device until you clear app data or delete the App.
Facial Photos: Not retained. Processed in real-time and immediately discarded.
Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription plus any legally required retention period.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete Your Data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in the App's Profile settings to delete all locally stored data.
Access Your Data: All your data is stored locally on your device and is accessible through the App.
Opt Out: You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

7. Children's Privacy

VMAX is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App includes an age verification step during onboarding. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

8. Face Data & Biometric Processing

VMAX utilizes the camera on your device to perform facial scans. This scan calculates facial geometry, symmetry, and proportions using landmark coordinates.

Face Data Collected: We extract facial landmark coordinate points (e.g. eye position, mouth angle, jaw structure) from the image. We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit raw camera photos or videos to any servers for face database storage.
Uses of Face Data: Face data is used exclusively to calculate geometric ratios and symmetry scores for the user’s local looksmaxxing report.
Sharing and Storage: All face scanning, biometric detection, and landmark calculations are performed entirely locally on your device. We do not share face data with any third parties, and no biometric data is uploaded to our servers.
Retention: Face data is processed transiently in memory and discarded immediately after the analysis is complete. If you choose to save your scan history, this metadata is stored locally in your device's secure cache and is completely removed if you delete the app or clear your profile data.

9. International Users

If you are accessing the App from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please note that your facial photos may be processed by Google's AI services, which may involve data transfer to servers outside your region. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
